McAfee VirusScan® Enterprise 8.6 requires Windows 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista for both desktops and servers.
System requirements:
- Pentium or Celeron processor running a minimum of 166MHz
- Minimum of 32MB of RAM (512MB or more recommended)
- Minimum 150MB free disk space
- Windows XP Home and Professional SP2, or
- Windows 2000 Professional SP3 or later
Windows 95, 98 and ME users: VirusScan will not run on these versions of Windows. You will need to upgrade to Windows XP or newer
